Protector, King of Gods upon your throne,
By the sky you come to rule the Earth
Beside Queen Hera, noble Chief Divine.
Hear, hear how we bid, O gracious Zeus,
That if our gifts give joy and satisfaction,
Grant us peaceful health and honest wealth
That we may better care for gods and kin.
